Mioki is an artist community from Aachen, Germany, which is involved in music and graphic design since 1990. In the summer of 2007 Mioki released a limited t-shirt series. The idea behind this release is representing an authentic way of urban life and HipHop without relying on short term trends or fashion gimmicks. Instead, the focus is on longevity and classic timeless designs which do not wear off or lose their charme after one season. High quality and unique designs in small editions guarantee a high credibility and prevent the classic “sellout” that many fashion labels experience. Mioki products always have something exclusive to deliver without neglecting the freshness and the funk. The T-shirts come in 210 g/square-meter cotton and feature a special box which puts emphasis on the whole project. In addition to the tape box, which contains the t-shirt, comes a “rookie card” which presents the artists who is responsible for the according design. Each t-shirt series is limited to 200 pieces.

Mioki is supported by artists such as Masta Ace, Edo.G, Torch (Zulu Nation), Toni L., Spax, DJ Premier, L.O.T.U.G., Questlove, Promoe, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Blu & Exile, J-Live, The Majors, Dilated Peoples, Black Moon, Black Milk, MC Lyte, Bahamadia, Roxanne Shanté, Melle Mel, GrandWizzard Theodore, Kurtis Blow, Torae, El Da Sensei, Camp Lo, Ugly Duckling etc.
